SNK NEO-GEO AES
The Neo Geo was released in the US in 1990 at a retail price of $649.99 as the Gold system which included two controllers and two games (Magician Lord and Fatal Fury). The other silver system package was priced at $399.99 and came with one controller and did not include a game. It features two CPUs (the 16-bit Motorola 68000 main processor which runs at 12 mhz and the Zilog Z80 8 bit co-processor which runs at 4 mhz. The video chipset displayed 4,096 colors and 380 individual sprites onscreen at the same time and a Yamaha YM2610 sound chip that produced 15 channels of sound with seven channels reserved just for digital sound effects.
