SEGA GAME GEAR
The Sega Game Gear was released on April 26,1991 for a retail price of $149.99. It competed in the market with the like of Gameboy, but due to the lack of original games, short battery life and little support from Sega (concentrating more on home gaming consoles) it was unable beat the GameBoy in sales. It was discontinued on April 30,1997 with approximately 11 million units sold.
