PSP-2000/3000
The PSP-2000 or the PSP Slim was released Released in September 7,2007 for $169 USD and was the first major overhaul to the original PSP, THE PSP-2000 was 33% lighter and 19% slimmer than the original PlayStation Portable. It had a new gloss finish and the serial port was changed to accommodate a new video-out feature. In 2008, Sony released a second hardware revision called the PSP-3000 which included new features such as a built-in microphone and upgraded screen, as well as the ability to output PSP games in interlaced mode.
