The ColecoVision was released on August 1982 with a retail price of $200.00.The console offered graphics and gameplay that were close to arcade quality. The system came packed the the arcade classic Donkey Kong which helped sell over 500,000 consoles by December 1982 holiday sales and offered five different expansions modules where also released for the console during the consoles' lifespan.
